Day #6

Is to have a Sea Lion, but I don't even think it is legal to own one, so I may just have to fulfill my other dream and become a trainer and SeaWorld
I just want to kiss his little whiskers they are so cute!

On a more realistic level

I want an Alaskan Malamute, Akita, German Shepherd, or a Lab I WILL have one!
But for now my favorite puppy is my Rocky, I love him so much and for now this is all I can have until I have my own place.
I love my Rock Man
He is so handsome, even though his hair his turning white

I love animals a little too much if you ask me, don't even get me started.

Day # 5 Flashback

2 years ago I had just moved home from Dixie State College and I finished my Associates Degree
It was a very bitter sweet time in my life.
I was excited to move home but it was hard to leave St. George
This picture is from winter break when our crew from dixie all met up and went ice skating it was such a blast!
I haven't changed too much physcially, but a lot has changed since then!

Fun Facts/Tips take it or leave it

So what are the basics of being healthy? Most of this know what it is but when is the last time you made sure you were doing it?

Are you getting at LEAST 7-8 hours of sleep?
Are you drinking LOTS of water? Forget the 8 glasses of water a day thing.....drink as much as you possibly can!!!
Vitamins? Are you low on iron? A lot of people are.
Two things my trainer recommended I take EVERY DAY
1. Fish Oil
2. Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)-CLA helps you to get rid of body fat and generate muscle. This is one of the few weight loss supplements that are safe to use. Studies have also shown it reduces the risk of cancer at several sites, including the breast, the prostate, the colon, the lung, the skin, and the stomach.
Pay attention to your body if you feel overly tired and exahsted you could be low on Iron or vitamin D. Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamins
3. Mulit-vitamin
Speaking of trainer... he is kicking my butt! Talk about every part of my body being sore YEP!

For ever night you don't wash your face you age 13 days! Can you believe that! Sick! So whenever you are laying there in bed too lazy to get up and wash your face ( this is me on a regular basis-  props to you if you are in good habits and never miss a night of washing your face) anyway just wash you face at night or you are going to wrinkle up pretty quickly haha

As for my weekend
It rocked :) I love when I don't have to work weekends. I got a lot of homework done and still had time to play.

-Date to Tucanos
-Walked around gateway
-UFC fights / chick flick
-Packers WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Gotta go buy my cheese head for the super bowl!!!

Day #4 Bff's

I do not have one best friend, I feel so truly blessed to have had great friends throughout my life. Although some of my friends I don't see much anymore I remember those days when you could not find us apart, When we would talk on the phone for hours, and we were just two peas in a pod. Here is a shout out to all my Best Friends of the past, present, and ..... future? maybe haha

Ok I went a little overboard but I love all my friends!

I feel so lucky to be so close in age with my sisters. For 3 months out of the year we are only a year apart. Ex: This year we will be 23, 24, and 25

Roommates! Some of the best friends I will ever have! College days were the best staying up to all hours of the night :)

Trouble! Oh the wonderful high school days. Getting into trouble and figuring out who we were, but we did it we graduated, almost 5 years now crazy!

Day 2

Day #2
Post a picture of something you ate today
So it took me a while to post day #2 but I will finish this challenge!
One of my goals this year, of course is to lose weight and I have one of these after every workout :)

Protein Shake

They are so good and not very many calories, So refreshing its my dessert for the day. I recommend chocolate flavor, with strawberries and ice So so yummy! Lets hope this helps shed the pounds! :)

Tomorrow is a day I am fearing! About a year ago I bought some training sessions with a trainer at my gym. I wanted to get all in shape for the big day! But after every thing went down I kind of lost my inspirations. I ended up gaining weight instead of losing it. So I have been trying to lose the weight before I started my sessions but it just wasn't working out so I decided to just go ahead and do it. So for the next 5 weeks I will be working with big man Presley, a very large black man that is in the best shape I have ever seen. His words were "I am not going to go easy on you, I know you can do it and we need to get this weight off as soon as possible. You are a beautiful young lady and I want you to see results."

Therefore I hope you see why I am scared. Tomorrow is Day 1 of training with Presley. AHHHHHHHHHH
I am so excited, I have been running at least two miles a day ( I know thats not a lot for all you marathon runners but its good for me) haha.....  along with other things and I have been trying to prepare but lets just face it. I am so out of shape that I know I am going to die tomorrow. Wish me luck! Now I don't want to turn this into a fitness blog or anything but I def. want to share my results. Also I want to share tips with anyone who is interested, (although I know Im not skinny I do know how to get skinny) so I will put things here on there about my progress and what I can offer for all of you. Most of this comes from the advice Presley gives me. I mean he isn't just one of those people that just says he is a trainer. He as all the classes and certifications you could get, he also does competitions that a based on how he looks. He says give me a date and tell me to look a certain way and he will get there. He is awesome! 

So my first tip:

Tip #1
Don't eat fruit after your meal eat it on an empty stomach. I mean yes fruit is healthy but if you want to get the most out of it with how it digests, eat it before you eat a meal.

Tip #2
When you eat almonds try and chew them as many times as you can, maybe anywhere from 20 to 40 chews it helps as an appetite supressant. Almonds are a great healthy snack, but make sure you count how many you eat they are a lot of calories and if you just eat them out of the jar you may eat 30 before you even know it! I try and eat 10 - 15 and I could probably cut down on that.

Well if you think what I say is bogus thats fine but I hope as the weeks go on I can start to see some results and share some fun tips with all of you!

Bieber Fever

I have had a poster of Justin Bieber on my wall for about 6 months now. He is the last thing I see every night before I go to bed. He even signed the poster, it reads;
"Natacia will you be my shorty"
Therefore I can not wait to go see his new movie with Shae.He is going to rock our world!

On an even happier note, Emily and Shaun got married yesterday. I have no idea why I didn't take any pictures of them. They are such a beautiful couple and I couldn't be more happy for them. Trev was a champ and came to the wedding with me.

After the wedding we had a Kinect party and Kal and Taylor's. Once again I have NO idea why I didn't take pictures because it was the most halarious thing ever. Watching the boys dance battle was the best~! I did knock Trevor out at boxing, but then he destroyed me at track and field. We had so much fun, and I am so happy I got Trevor the Kinect for Christmas because now we can go buy our new favorite games! That was my weekend :) Now I have to work the worst night of the week to work... Saturday night :( I hope everyone else enjoys their saturday night! Although I am very grateful to have a job and I love all the kids and once I am there I will have a wonderful night! I am proud to say I have 2 post's in the new year already it is going to be a great blogging year I just know it!

Winter Holidays

Happy Holidays

These are all things I did not blog about this winter. Winter is cold, and I always want to snuggle up and watch movies with my free time, not blog. Anyway they are NOT in order but since the first snow fall to now these are things I would have blogged about :)

It was a lot of fun and we had a great turn out. Everyone was so helpful and it turned out really great! We can't wait for baby Madeline to get here.

College Gameday and many Utah games with Kalyn, she was so nice to let me use her husbands tickets when he was working, which was every game. It was such a blast!

Zoo Lights, and hanging with my nieces and nephew! They bring so much joy to our family, I love them so much!

Girls Day out with Bella was quite the adventure. A boy pushed her off the slide and it was a really scary moment, she fell on her head. She seemed to be ok after I got her Ice-cream and a princess from the Disney store. She is so much fun and is so sweet. I  was actually telling her how stupid the boy was for pusing her off the slide and she said "Tossy we don't say that word" haha she even keeps me in line! I love her so much!

Game nights lately have been so much fun! Sometimes it's with my parents or all of our friends and they are so much fun. I have to keep on record that Mallory and I DESTROYED Trevor and Pete at Catch Phrase,
