Oh married life is wonderful, don't listen to what other people say. My whole engagement I can't tell you how much negativity I heard about marriage... I knew Trev and I would be fine but it got really frustrating. Of course it will be hard just like it's hard to live with your siblings growing up, and how in college you sometimes you had that one hard roommate... I am sure marriage will have all those little moments of frustration. But if both people try to be selfless and serve each other it helps a whole lot! It's so easy for me right now... I mean I love doing his dishes and laundry and picking up his wet towel off the bed... I am sure this is part of the "newlywed" stage and it doesn't annoy me... but I hope I can always be kind and tolerant of all the little things that have potential to "bug" someone. It is so great taking care of each other, I think we are a great team and it is so great learning more about each other everyday.
I love cooking!! For now I try one new recipe a week because it is all I have time for. I am studying for the GMAT and I go to prep courses 3 times a week so life has not slowed down that is for sure, I don't think it ever will.... but that is ok.
The wedding was perfect, the honeymoon was a dream, and I love playing house with my husband. I can't wait to blog about the wedding but I really want to wait until I get my pictures back from my photographer.....TIP... if any brides are worried about their groom seeing them in their dress before the wedding day DONT BE we got such great pictures doing groomals and on the wedding day it isn't as relaxing, so I recommend getting over your groom seeing you he still thinks your beautiful the day of and pictures last FOREVER!

Yes we are on our honeymoon and YES I am blogging. The thing is the second the sun hits my face I wake up no matter how late we go to bed. It was a late night last night and of course I am still up and the crack of dawn. So instead of wake Trev up like I do every morning I decided to blog! I am so excited to start blogging about our family we have just started. Our wedding day was the best day of my life. I guess I just didn't realize how perfect it would be. I just lay in bed and think about it every night, it was so much fun! Thank you everyone for your support it is amazing to see your friends and family there on that important day it meant so much to us we can't even explain it in words. Mexico is amazing! I can't wait to get back and blog about it! I love having a husband, Trev is so amazing I love him more everyday. He is so sweet and I really don't even know how I got so lucky! I am excited to be back in the blogging world for real and keep up on everyone's lives!!!

Wedding planning... but wait

I have been such a bad blogger! Not only am I wedding planning but I got engaged as well. It was perfect, everything I have ever dreamed of. I knew it would be coming in the next few months but I had no idea it would all happen so soon. Trevor asked my dad and got the ring all without me knowing, which is what I always wanted. Not to know it was coming and he got me good. It was a beautiful day, Labor day actually and we both had the day off work. Trevor told me that we would be going to a BBQ at his brothers house. On his way to pick me up he said his car died so I went out to my car to pick him up and this is what I found...

I was so shocked, I can't even explain how many beats my heart skipped. I knew it was happening and I had never felt so happy. Along with the letter telling me nothing was wrong with his car he had another letter and when I opened it up it had the word WILL.... then trevor wrote a bunch of things with the word WIll, he said he WILL always take care of me and WILL never hurt me and a whole bunch of other sweet things. From there Trev led me on a little scavenger hunt to all of the places that mean something to us. 1st place was boondocks, this was the first date Trevor and I ever went on. He took me there our senior year of high school. It was such a blast, then when he got home from his mission we went again on one of our first dates. When I got there his brother was waiting with a rose and another envelope but he said I had to beat him for it. So I took a few minutes and dominated him at basketball (he didn't know I played) then I got my next letter that said YOU.

The things he wrote were so sweet and thoughtful, the next place he let me to was Bucca De Beppo our favorite place to eat dinner. Then his sister in law was waiting and gave me the next letter that read MARRY.

Obviously I knew what was going on, the next place was my home address. I can't explain to you at this point the emotion I felt. I cried the whole way to my house, I think this may have been the first time I have ever cried because I was so happy. I never thought I would feel this again, I never thought it would be this special. All I could think was this is exactly how I am suppose to feel, this is the start to the best days of my life. So after getting all my letters I showed up to my house, I went inside and it was dark and then my dog was waiting by the back door so I knew he was out there.

My perfect dream come true, and the ring is even more perfect. Exactly what I wanted :) even more beautiful than I imagined.

Oh he is the man of my dreams. Trevor and I have dated a long time and it wasn't always perfect we went through a lot and it took me a long time to let me guard down and let myself fall completely in love with him. But now that it is this way I fall more in love with him everyday. I am so excited to marry him and being engaged has been so much fun, planning this wedding has been the best time of my life. I honestly can't wait to start this new chapter. I know if some of you have read my blog you may have remembered my goodbye post almost 2 years ago, I just want you to know that no matter how hard life gets and even when you don't think it will get better.. it does. I never imagined I could be this happy but now I feel crazy for ever thinking that way. So stay strong!

As for now I have a lot more updates coming, Oh and I get married in 80 days no big deal :)

Weekend Fun!

The 4th of July weekend this year was very eventful, we partied all weekend! Saturday all my nieces came over and we had the best water day you could have with out a real pool. We were slip and sliding, having water fights, and best of all just had a really good time as a family. I love my nieces and nephew so much! Sadly Vanessa and Jon and baby Isaiah could not be with us this weekend they were with Jon's family but we still had a great time!

I can't believe how big all of my nieces are getting, it's sad how fast they are growing up but it is so fun to watch them go through all these different stages in life.

After a fun day in the sun, we headed off to the Brophy cabin for the night. The Brophy's are so kind and always have an open door, I am glad they let Trev and I come and barge in on their family affair. The cabin was beautiful they have done such a great job. It is in such a great location about 30 mins from Strawberry Resevior. The best part is all the dogs are welcome at the cabin! There were 6 dogs up there, and I got to see my 2 nephews Oscy and Lenny! We had a fun time 4-wheeling and exploring and just being able to hang out and chat with everyone! It doesn't matter what you do with the Brophy's you know its going to be a good time! I love them all so much!

Then it was off to more firework and Murray park. Our cousins have made it tradition to go there every year. We had a bbq then stayed for firework. It wasn't the most amazing firework show but at least we had the opportunity to see some fireworks. I love living in the country and I am proud to me and American!!!

After having a short work week because of the holiday it felt like this weekend came so fast! Mal hosted a glitter toe party mid-week and before I knew it the weekend was here!

We celebrated Mads birthday dinner friday night! It was great that Erin could be in town for all of these fun times, but we missed Kels!

Then to end the weekend we had Erin's baby shower. She is having a baby boy that they will be naming Liam ( I love all of Erin's baby names)!

Mal put a lot of work into the shower and that is why it turned out so cute! I like being the one to put the work into having it my house and everyone else can do the work of making it cute that isn't my strong point. But all the girls helped out making yummy desserts and Mads had the idea of this cute clothes line! It was a lot of fun to be with all of our friends and celebrate such a fun time in Erin's life. It's crazy to think that one day I will be having bridal and baby shower for myself. I am so use to helping throw them for everyone else I forgot that I am suppose to get around to it too someday... silly me I better start working on one of those.

I am so blessed, I love my family and friends so much. Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in life and let it bring you down. Sometimes I start to feel sorry for myself and it's good to take a step back and truly count your blessing. I have nothing to complain about and I hope that I can be more grateful for everything I have and always remember how lucky I am to have all these people that I love and care about and they may even love me a little too :). I hope everyone is having a great summer and keep up the fun, before we know it winter will be here ...... so go on vacation and stay out in the sun too long!

St. George in June

I haven't experienced St. George in the Summer Time for a lot of years. When I went to College there I always came home for the summer, and why would you visit in the summer when you are there all year. Well it was Hot Hot Hot.

The original plan was Trevor, Erin, Neal, and myself were going to go to San Diego for the week and stay with Erin's family. But with vacation time and work and school and life in general we decided to keep it a little more short and sweet and that is exactly what it was.

We had SOOOOO Much fun and we can't thank Neal and Erin enough for letting them spend time with them and their boys.

I love their boys/dogs, I just couldn't get enough of them!

We started the trip off going to the St. George temple. We had such a great time and I am so grateful we have such great friends we can do that kind of stuff with.

We had a great time and Movie in the Park, we even got to take Oscyyyy along for the fun!

Luckily all this crazy weather brought us some enjoyment because of the overflow Gunlock falls actually had some falls this year so we took the dogs and went and explored. The red rock was so beautiful and there was even some cliffs we could jump off that had really deep pools of water below. I couldn't even touch the bottom in one of them, it will be interesting to go back sometime when the water levels aren't high and actually see how deep the pools were.

We had such a great time at the waterfalls! On our way home we got to stop by my friends Jared and Sierra's and get our puppy fix. They have 8 lab puppies! They were so adorable I don't know how I resisted taking one home with me.

After a long day we decided to treat ourself to a great dinner! Same type of place as Benihana's called Samurai 21. Trevor loved it, he is still talking about how good it was!

It was such a fun trip and we got to spend some time with some great friends! Thank you so much Erin and Neal we can't wait to come visit again!!!!

I think thats a record, 3 posts in 1 day. I think I can say I am officially back to the blogging world!

Vegas / BYOB

So these post are a little out of order but it's now or never.

In 2008 when I moved home from Dixie, I was lucky enough to move into a ward with an amazing group of girls that little did I know would become some of the best friends I have ever had. I didn't know 1 person when I started going to that ward. Over that next year all of my friends from high school started getting married and I feel slow blessed that I became friends with all of these girls. Every May we go to Vegas and this is only my 2nd trip with them but I have a feeling we will be doing this a lot over the years. We lay out, shop, and eat. Girls trips don't get any better than that.

We also have a montly girls night and June was my month!! SADLY I don't think we took 1 picture and I don't understand why because it was such a fun night! I sent out an email that said

I grilled in my back yard and we all just chatted it up, they turned out to be sooo good and we had a great turn out!! I am so grateful for these girls, although I don't have a lot of history with them and I don't know them as well as I know my friends that I have grown up with I am so grateful for each of them. They have taught me so much and they have been there for me through some really difficult times in my life. I am so grateful for all of them, LOVE ALL MY GIRLS!!!

The road trip down is always a good time. This time we packed 6 of us in a Buick and the rest of the girls came down in another car.

Summer Nights

I think we all had a slow start to out summer, I can't believe it is almost July. But that means I have to make all these weekends count. The month of June has been a blast, Trevor and I went to the South Jordan carnival last weekend that we also went to last year. Last year we got 2 frogs, since those have both passed away we decided to get a new pet. We got a Gold Fish, sadly when we got home and put him in his new home he wouldn't eat. So my new pet only lived 1 week :( we had a blast at the carnival!.

Summer didn't feel like summer until we finally went to the Drive Inn!! We had a few friends join us but sadly I didn't get any pictues. We saw Water For Elephants. It was such a great movie, I didn't read the book so I am sure that is why I enjoyed it so much. Going in to the movie I had no idea what it was about but I really loved it!

We have had a lot of fun summer date nights. We love going to dinner, watching movies, and just hanging out. My dad has been out of town quite a bit so we have had fun taking my mom out to dinner and spending time with her.

The other night Trevor told me he had something planned and wouldn't give me any clues. Finally after driving all the way down town and I still had no idea where we were going we pulled up to Benihana's. I had never been there before and I was really excited to try it. We loved our food and I loved all the cool dishes we ate with.

Afterwards we took a little hike up Ensign Peak. Trevor and I had never been up there together. The View never gets old. I love looking over the valley and seeing the temple. It was so much fun and it made it even better that Trev planned our night.

And who am I kidding. Summer isn't summer without wonderful summer nights on the Hammock watching the sunset.

It doesn't get much better than that. I am so blessed :)

Birthday Time

I feel like summer for me didn't really kick off until my birthday weekend, but it has been great. Starting off for my birthday we planned to go to dinner with all the girls and it actually turned into dinner, the U2 and Fray concert. Erin's father-in-law hooked us up and it was so fun hanging out with the girls and jamming out singing at the top of our lungs! Thanks girls I love you so much!

The morning of my birthday I woke up and my dear friend shae had attatcked my house and car, streamers everywhere, car paint that said birthday girl and a huge sign on my garage door that said "Honk it's my birthday". I am grateful for her and all the nice things she does. I wish I would have taken pictures of it :(

The night of my birthday.... Trevor spoiled me as always! He told me he was making me something turn out he actually did! He made me a shadow box with all of the dates we have been on that have tickets involved, starting with our first date to the Bee's game on May, 29th 2010! It had tickets of the movies we have been to and we are obsessed with movies! Also SeaWorld, Utah Jazz games, Grizzlie games. I was so impressed. He also put in some sea shells that we found on Hunington beach! He is so thoughtful, he even put everything in with velcro so I can change it out when we go to concerts or other places we want to remember. Then he got me a bloggy, which is a mini video camera... like a flip but the flip is discontinued so now I have my sony bloggy and I can't wait to start posting videos.

Then he took me to the Nike store and let me pick out shoes. I got two pairs of NIKE's that I love love love.

Then off to the cheesecake factory! It was so much fun and I am so greateful for him and his ability to show his love to me.

That same weekend was my Nephews first birthday which is such a HUGE deal so we celebrated that and it was so much fun. He is such a cutie!!!

I tried out my new Bloggie video camera on him eating his cake. He was very timid about diving into it I am glad I caught it on video.

Today I am trying to catch up on all my blogging so there is more to come :)

Graduation

I never knew how I would feel when this day came. I knew I would feel all the normal emotions that one would feel on graduation day but I always pictured life would be so different. During graduation you take time to reflect on the past 4 years, (5 for some of us) and it can always stir up a lot of emotions. I think of all the plans I had starting out, it is amazing how much life can change your plans.

- I am grateful for the opportunity to get an education

- I am grateful I got the opportunity to go to college with my best friends, 1 dream (of many) fulfilled*

- I am grateful we stayed up late

- I am grateful I ate one too many cookies and gained my freshmen 15.... + + + +.... (Here's to losing it)

- I am grateful I learned how to study hard, work hard, and pay for my education

- I am grateful for my mind and the ability learn
- I am grateful that my plans changed

- I am grateful I changed my major 3 times

- I am grateful I didn't marry any of my "college" boyfriends
- I am grateful I am a U of U graduate
- I am grateful my 5 year plan didn't come true
- I am grateful to have parents who are proud of me

- I am grateful that I am never alone

- I am grateful I am still a dreamer

Now this is one of those cheesy moments when I really can say I am starting a new chapter of life. I am not half the person that I want to become, I hope when I do become that person that I want to be even better. Some of the best advice I have been given;

- Set goals
- Never settle
- Don't compare yourself to others, the grass is always greener on the other side
- Live in the moment
- Forget about all the things that didn't happen and decide what's next
- Don't stress (so simple, yet so wise)
- Be kind

- Love, serve, and the rest will take care of itself

- Run With It
- DREAM BIG

I am grateful that life for me can slow down for a little bit, that I can sit back and really not just let life pass me by. My main goal is to live in the moment and Make It Count!

I don't know exactly what is next for me but I do know that I want to be better, and I will be better.

I am excited to start blogging again, I have been looking forward to this!

I am glad I could graduate with my sister, I love my friends and family so much, I am grateful for all the support and love I have gotten from so many people the past 5 years, so congratulations I could not have done it without you!

So after coming off of an inspiration weekend I want to remind all of you to never lose sight of your dreams and never stop setting goals, push yourself... but not too hard or life will just pass you by before you even have time to blink.

So my new blog title for now is DREAM BIG!

We did it!

Maybe it's in the air

I love having weekends full of sunshine, it must be something in the air because it makes me so happy. I only have about 2 more weeks of school left and I should be very stressed, but this weekend I couldn't help but enjoy soaking up the sun. I changed my blog title to Love Is All You Need, because wow what a difference our world would be if we all believed that. I see so many people being so unkind to each other. For example, you are driving minding your own business and for some reason the car next to you pulls up and flips you off. I stop and think what did I do? I was just jamming out to my music, did I cut them off? Whatever it was is it really necessary to make me feel bad and flip me off... that is when I just need to pull out a sign that says; LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED! I wonder how they would feel? At that point I am sure they would just flip me off again but really why we live in a world where a lot of the time people are so unhappy. We spend so much time complaining that we forget to sit back and see how truly blessed we all are. I just want to love everyone, like I said maybe it's just something in that air but I wake up feeling like I want to make a difference. I want to make someone smile, I want to lighten their load and help them feel loved and appreciated like they do mean something in this world. I can't imagine how many people out their don't feel loved, they may not have family, friends, children, lovers, or anyone at all to tell them they love them, my heart breaks for them. So I take on this challenge and I hope you all will too, take a second to notice those around you that may just need to hear those words I love you. Maybe you don't feel comfortable saying it to them so you can show them, because when it really comes down to it, Love is all you need people :)

This new job isn't mixing well with 19 credits BUT

I will SuRviVe

Only 2 more months of this madness [ 19 credits + 40+hr work week]!! So if you don't see me or hear from me, in real life or on this blog

that is why

I love my new Job

I feel so blessed and I am so happy I don't have to go job hunting when I graduate

I have a feeling I may be with this company the rest of my life

It's an amazing company and I know that it's just the right fit for me

I am excited to work hard and master this job

Although... my boss told me it takes a few years to feel comfortable at this position and that I need to be patient....

So here is to the next two years of getting comfortable with my new career :)

When Trev and I first started dating we wanted a place that could just be our place, that we have never really been with any other guys/girls so we picked this place. I had never even been there and he had been there once before. Now its our favorite, they have our most favorite appetizer, and I always get a Raspberry Italian Cream Soda, and then we always get a dish to share.Trevor always insists on getting the big one and its WAY too much food. It's a fun atmosphere and we love it and I love that it is "our place". Our new favorite is their ravioli's WOW so good. You should try it if you can

Day #9 Great News

Well because I am a poor student I have not been shopping in so long. The last time I went shopping with My money for clothes for Me was probably October when I went to California. Anyway I am happy to say I finally bought something last night, but I can justify it!

1st and foremost I didn't buy this for myself

My sweetheart showed up with it yesterday, he bought it for me.

I love him!

Trevor has been a Packers fan since he was born. The very 1st thing he gave me was his packer shirt he said it was his favorite so I could sleep in it at night. Well he decided it was time for me to have my own for the big game today! I am excited because I have never had an NFL team that I have loved. So even though I am a packers fan by default I am excited to cheer them on today! They haven't won a superbowl since like 1996 or something like that so Trevor is SOOO excited. GO PACKERS!!

So now for the good news!

I went shopping for a few things because ...

I GOT A NEW JOB!!!!!

I am so excited, I will be working for L-3 Communications as a Production Planner Specialist.

At my current job I wear scrubs everyday, I am so excited that my new job is business casual. But I don't really have a lot of that style of clothes. So I bought a few shirts at Target last night that will go great with a blazer and dress pants. I am really excited!

Does anyone know where I can find a black blazer for not too expensive?

If anyone knows of some great deals on blazers, dress pants, or good shirts that go with dress pants let me know. I am a little lost in this area, I want to just wear a dress everyday. I love dresses but when I was out there for my interview everyone was in business style suits, even the girls. I don't want to look like some dumb 22 year old wearing a cute summer dress haha. I have to be serious, this job is for real. I mean this is more of a career to me not just a job! I am so happy that when I graduate I don't have to go job hunting. I am so grateful that my dad was able to help me out and get my foot in the door......................... (he works at L-3 as well) I am so sad to leave Primary Childrens because I will miss my co-workers and the kids so much. But I made hardly nothing there and I didn't want to be a nurse so there was no where for me to move up. With this job, I can actually start saving money and go get my MBA and hopefull one day move up with this company. That is my plan and I am really excited!

Go Jazz

So my bff Erin's Father, Mr. John Brophy has had access to 5th row Jazz tickets for years! Since my senior year I have been hoping maybe one day he will throw them my way. I always tell Erin, if you dad doesn't ever want them I will take them off his hands. So the other night I take Trevor over there for the 1st time, all the guys were talking and so what does Trevor do, he says "we can take those tickets off your hands"(we meaning the boys). I overheard and walked in the room and I see John hand Trevor the tickets! I couldn not believe it, no way John doesn't even know him! I have been wanting those tickets for years! So I said you better take me! Well of course John says you have to take Toss. So I stole Pete or Taylor's ticket and I know they weren't too happy about it. I just could not believe after all these years all I had to do was ask and I am sure I would have had 5th row seats a long time ago haha. Anyway it was a blast, and I will have to try and get the other boys some tickets so they don't hate me for life. Sadly..... D. Will did not play but I had a great view of him the whole game and the Jazz still won!! GO JAZZ!

I hope one day we can afford season tickets, we seriously had so much fun! I love that we both love the Jazz!

So trevor knocked the guy next to him over as he went for this little ball. He didn't even realize how aggressive he was being he just wanted the ball! He was so proud of his great catch!

Apparently this guy is a big deal (in my sarcastic voice), people wouldn't stop asking for his autograph, they ended up leaving early. Thats what you get for being good at basketball.... at BYU..... in the state of Utah.... You can't go anywhere!

Honestly the Jazz Bear is the best mascot ever! He is the highlight of the game sometimes, I honestly can't stop laughing at him! He cracks me up!

I was excited to move home but it was hard to leave St. George

So what are the basics of being healthy? Most of this know what it is but when is the last time you made sure you were doing it?

Are you getting at LEAST 7-8 hours of sleep?
Are you drinking LOTS of water? Forget the 8 glasses of water a day thing.....drink as much as you possibly can!!!
Vitamins? Are you low on iron? A lot of people are.
Two things my trainer recommended I take EVERY DAY
1. Fish Oil
2. Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA)-CLA helps you to get rid of body fat and generate muscle. This is one of the few weight loss supplements that are safe to use. Studies have also shown it reduces the risk of cancer at several sites, including the breast, the prostate, the colon, the lung, the skin, and the stomach.
Pay attention to your body if you feel overly tired and exahsted you could be low on Iron or vitamin D. Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamins
3. Mulit-vitamin

For ever night you don't wash your face you age 13 days! Can you believe that! Sick! So whenever you are laying there in bed too lazy to get up and wash your face ( this is me on a regular basis- props to you if you are in good habits and never miss a night of washing your face) anyway just wash you face at night or you are going to wrinkle up pretty quickly haha

So it took me a while to post day #2 but I will finish this challenge!
One of my goals this year, of course is to lose weight and I have one of these after every workout :)

Protein Shake

They are so good and not very many calories, So refreshing its my dessert for the day. I recommend chocolate flavor, with strawberries and ice So so yummy! Lets hope this helps shed the pounds! :)

Tomorrow is a day I am fearing! About a year ago I bought some training sessions with a trainer at my gym. I wanted to get all in shape for the big day! But after every thing went down I kind of lost my inspirations. I ended up gaining weight instead of losing it. So I have been trying to lose the weight before I started my sessions but it just wasn't working out so I decided to just go ahead and do it. So for the next 5 weeks I will be working with big man Presley, a very large black man that is in the best shape I have ever seen. His words were "I am not going to go easy on you, I know you can do it and we need to get this weight off as soon as possible. You are a beautiful young lady and I want you to see results."

Therefore I hope you see why I am scared. Tomorrow is Day 1 of training with Presley. AHHHHHHHHHH
I am so excited, I have been running at least two miles a day ( I know thats not a lot for all you marathon runners but its good for me) haha..... along with other things and I have been trying to prepare but lets just face it. I am so out of shape that I know I am going to die tomorrow. Wish me luck! Now I don't want to turn this into a fitness blog or anything but I def. want to share my results. Also I want to share tips with anyone who is interested, (although I know Im not skinny I do know how to get skinny) so I will put things here on there about my progress and what I can offer for all of you. Most of this comes from the advice Presley gives me. I mean he isn't just one of those people that just says he is a trainer. He as all the classes and certifications you could get, he also does competitions that a based on how he looks. He says give me a date and tell me to look a certain way and he will get there. He is awesome!

So my first tip:

Tip #1
Don't eat fruit after your meal eat it on an empty stomach. I mean yes fruit is healthy but if you want to get the most out of it with how it digests, eat it before you eat a meal.

Tip #2
When you eat almonds try and chew them as many times as you can, maybe anywhere from 20 to 40 chews it helps as an appetite supressant. Almonds are a great healthy snack, but make sure you count how many you eat they are a lot of calories and if you just eat them out of the jar you may eat 30 before you even know it! I try and eat 10 - 15 and I could probably cut down on that.

Well if you think what I say is bogus thats fine but I hope as the weeks go on I can start to see some results and share some fun tips with all of you!

On an even happier note, Emily and Shaun got married yesterday. I have no idea why I didn't take any pictures of them. They are such a beautiful couple and I couldn't be more happy for them. Trev was a champ and came to the wedding with me.

After the wedding we had a Kinect party and Kal and Taylor's. Once again I have NO idea why I didn't take pictures because it was the most halarious thing ever. Watching the boys dance battle was the best~! I did knock Trevor out at boxing, but then he destroyed me at track and field. We had so much fun, and I am so happy I got Trevor the Kinect for Christmas because now we can go buy our new favorite games! That was my weekend :) Now I have to work the worst night of the week to work... Saturday night :( I hope everyone else enjoys their saturday night! Although I am very grateful to have a job and I love all the kids and once I am there I will have a wonderful night! I am proud to say I have 2 post's in the new year already it is going to be a great blogging year I just know it!

Californiaaaaaaaa

This was over fall break... oooops

This post is late....

better late than never

So I grew up going to florida beaches, then through high school I lived in VA so I went to East coast beaches.. I went to california maybe once or twice but never to be a beach bum. We would stop by the beach for maybe a day and I always hated it. It seemed too cold and what in the heck SeaWeed?? That was unheard of in Florida... anyway I really wanted to go explore California. Like always people always bail when I plan a fall break or spring break... but this time at least Trevor followed through. He has cousins that live in long beach that were so nice to let us stay with him. It was such a perfect vacation! On our way down we stayed at Erin and Neals, sadly they were not there :( but Pete, Mal, and Hads were staying there for the weekend as well. We went to Vegas and did some great H&M shopping :) We also laid out at a pool called Tahiti Village, I had stayed there a while back with some girl friends and I knew just how to get in haha you would have never known we weren't timeshare owners.

So my camera deleted my other pictures from Vegas :( so I have none with Mal or Pete or Hads ... sad.

The next day Trev and I headed of to California! It was such a fun road trip.. I thought Long Beach was so much further then it was but it wasn't a bad drive at all. Trev and I had things on our list we wanted to do but the best part was that we had no set plans. We did what we wanted to do when we wanted to do it :)

The first day we went to Olvero Street in downtown LA ... Trevor loved it! He went to Mexico on his mission and he said they had all of the same things. Clothes... cups... candy... food... people walking around singing sweet mexican tunes! It was a lot of fun!

Then we headed to Venice Beach.. talk about the best people watching in the world! We could not stop laughing! After being beach bums all day, we took the long board on the board walk.. Trev is a professional... I sucked!

After that we went to the Santa Monica Pier! We had such a great day of sunshine but then it started to get a little muggy.... it was so fun just being in a different atmosphere.. being in a place with all these tourists. I loved it... this is when I started to fall in love with California. A change of heart you could say.....

The rest of the trip was a lot of the same thing. We went to different beaches everyday. Hunington Beach was our favorite! We loved the beach... the pier... the surfers.... the shopping.. and it just had a great vibe. If either one of us ever own a beach house in california it would def. be at Hunington Beach.

One tradition we did start.. was everyday we ate lunch on the water... we ate at a few pier's or just at restaurants that had a view of the Ocean. It was fun everyday deciding where we were going to eat :)

Ruby's was our favorite! The restaurant at the end of the Hunington Beach Pier. On our way to eat lunch we saw TUNZ of dolphins. We watched them play for about an hour then we got seated at our table and we could still see them from where we ate. It was so much fun and they had great hamburgers and shakes!! YUM!!

If you know my love for animals you would understand the SEA WORLD was one of the highlights of my trip for sure. It is my dream to work there and work with the sea lions. They are so flipping cute and so smart!. San Diego seemed like a lot of fun, I was sad we only got to spend 1 day their but 5th avenue in downtown SD was such a hopping place. We had dinner and did some more shopping :).

It was such a great trip, we got to see friends and family and be together a lot. I don't think we had 1 fight believe it or not haha. I didn't know what to expect becuase it was my first time spending that much time with trevor... I think it was 10 days :) but all I can say is I for sure just fell for him more. I hope we can go back again next year!

Yvette and Glenn were such kind generous people to let us stay with them. Also Erin and Neal, I feel so lucky to have such great friends. I wish they all lived really close so we could spend more time together but no matter how much time goes by without spending time together its always the same when we finally do. I am so lucky and blessed for all the amazing people in my life, I really couldn't ask for any better.

This was something we saw on our long road trip... Seriously how would you like to tell someone... Oh just get off the zzyzs road exit. No big deal.

I have been such a terrible blogger lately,
I get on to post pictures about my weekend and write about it, then I find myself doing homework. Or getting on facebook, or blog stalking and I never get around to it. I figured out that I have so many emotions going on inside me and sometimes I am scared to get on here because I know I will just write about them. I share all my feelings on here and I know I have already shared too much in the past and thats ok, but there is something about writing to yourself and something else about writing when you know other people may see it. They are both good to do that is for sure.

Somedays I think I have cried so much that I won't ever do it again and then it comes again. As happy as I am, and as good as life is... no one can tell you when you are healed. No one knows when you will forget about the past, not even yourself.
I came to the realization that sometimes I think I am scared to forget, scared that if I don't breakdown every once in a while then its proof that I have officially forgotten something that meant so much to me at one point in my life.
Thanksgiving was great :)

VACATION!!!!!!!!

Not only do I want it... Im going to get it!

Fall break officially starts in 2 days! I feel in great need of a vacation... being a poor college student once again I am shocked and excited to take such a fun vacation for the whole week!!!

Kicking it off in St. Geezy, I can't to be with all of my friends and have a good time. You know Vegas shopping is in the plans and maybe a little serendipity :)

Then its off to CALIFORNIA!

So I have never really explored california which is weird because we live so close and so many people come to vacation there. But because my mom is for Florida I have spend several summers there. Now I know it won't compare to Siesta Key Beach or seeing my lovely Cuban family that I miss so much but I am so excited to go to all the places in California that I have never been too

Don't worry I have been to Disney World ... just not Disney Land so I am pumped

Wanting summer nights to stay forever !

Anyone else with me?
I am soaking up every summer night that is for sure. Only 2 more weekends until school starts... and one of them I work so that doesn't really count. I am so excited to start school again, but I know its going to take a lot of hard work and focus so that means not as much play time. Ready or not here it comes.

The past month has been great. So much has happened and life is good. I have learned so much through all the trials in my life but I think I have learned one of the hardest lessons through this trial.... but it was the most strengthening as well. Forgiveness.

There is nothing that will bring us more of the Spirit of God than to … be kind, considerate, charitable, long-suffering and forgiving. There is nothing that will bring more joy to us than to be ready and willing to forgive the trespasses of our neighbors against us, and there is nothing that will bring more condemnation to us than to harden our hearts and to be bitter and vindictive in our feelings towards those by whom we are surrounded

Although I have been taught this princeple before I felt I had never really had to use it in my life the way I have had to the past 3 months. It was so hard for me to swallow my pride and realize that life will be so much better if I could just forgive Sean. I tried and tried and I feel like that harder I tried the more bitter I felt. It was truly tearing me up inside. But I know the lord always provides a way to get through our trials in his time not ours. I know I had to suffer to appreciate this principle. In the blink of an eye one day I just felt ready. Ready to talk, ready to forgive, ready to say it's ok and I want you to be happy, ready to truly let go. I guess me being angry was a way of holding on to the only part of Sean that I had left. I know we all make mistakes, all we can do is learn and grow from them and thank our heavenly father for what they have taught us. If we don't learn then all that pain was for nothing. I am grateful for everything. I want to testify how much better life is when we don't have bad feelings towards anyone. I know there are many people out there who have had things done to them that are a million times worse then what was done to me, but I know that they to can forgive and there life will be changed. I can truly say now that this chapter of my life is closed. This is the last I will write about it. Although it still stings a little and makes me sad, I walk away so much happier knowing that we can both find happiness still, just not together anymore. I don't think Sean could have said it any better, this is the last thing he said,

"Thank you for being you, so perfect. I'm sorry I couldn't give you the world like I promised but someone else will I'm sure of it"

I truly know that the lord has something else and someone else instore for me and for sean. I am grateful for that knowledge and I am ready to walk away with just that with a smile on my face.

We got to go white water rafting, it really was such a great weekend with the girls. I didn't get too many pictures for some reason but I sure had a blast.

Trevor has been here through thick and thin, he has become my very best friend. I don't know what I would do without him. I thank my heavenly father for him. He always puts a smile on my face thats for sure!

Well thats a quick update.
Now is the start to a stay-cation with my parents. We were going to go to San Diego but things just didn't work out. So we are going to stay here and do some fun stuff in the mountains and around town. Tonight we went to cheesecake factory. It was so much fun! I love my parents! I am excited to have a week off of work and just hang out here!

All night softball tournaments are the best, especially when you go undefeated. I played with this team last (CJ's Sluggerz) year as well in the Tooele all night softball tournament but we took second or third I believe. We weren't having it this year though. It was so much fun, our first game was at 9PM and the championship game started at 630 AM. We were the undefeated champions!!! I am finally getting the whole slow pitch thing down and I think I can start to play on some more competitive teams consistently like this one. Everyone I played with was so dang good, it was fun to play with some really good athletes....... for a minute I didn't miss fastpitch so much... it felt almost just as good as the old days.... but just almost not quite.

Hollywood Connections baby!!!

Last weekend we were able to get a fun group together and go to Hollywood connections. I think it was the first time being there in years for a lot of us. Jared's dad is the GM and hooked us up with free skating, bummper cars, roller coaster, and tunz of tokens for arcade games. All of the boys were in heaven, they were like little kids. It was such a fun night out with friends!

Little did I know, Trevor use to be a DJ at the roller skating rink all through high school. So he was pretty professional at skating! It was so much fun to watch him and he helped me get better, I didnt fall once :)

We all felt like we were in Jr. High again :)

Since Mal is about to pop a baby out she couldn't roller skate. So her and pete watched my camera for me and took some beautiful pictures together. Love you guys!

I love summer, I am sad there is only a month in half left before school starts. My life will finally start getting back to normal though. I got in to the University of Utah which was a big relief because I applied 3 months late because I thought I would be out of state. I am so excited to finally know the road ahead for school. I have about a year in half before I graduate, then I found out about an accelerated Phd program at the U. I am well on my way to being a child psychologist and I am so excited about it. I have finally found something that I am passionate about and I can't wait to get started!

I love summer nights, when I can stay out all night and not get cold. Here are just a few adventures I have been on this summer.

Going out with the crew the Ensign Peak and the SLC cemetery... don't ask us why but its been great hanging out with all of our old group from high school.

The happy new couple! I know how long they have been waiting for this day. Since our senior year they have been patiently waiting for this day to come. After Kallee waited for Taylor on his mission their fairytale has finally come true. Although they have many bumps along the way I know they will live happily ever after! I am so happy for them!! It was such a great day, I love being at the temple and seeing how happy everyone is. I am so excited for that day to come for me. I can def. wait patiently for that day to come but it always makes you think when you share that day with someone. Kal will always be one of my best friends. I know I will see her and Taylor a lot still. We have been there for each other through some of the hardest times and its so great to be together through the greatest times of our lives as well. Wow I miss blogging.

Costa Rica

What an amazing adventure. It was everything I hoped it would be. A carefree week in a new place. I fell in love with it immediately. Maybe it's that hispanic blood in me, I have always loved my culture but I have never been able to experience full force like that. The people are so kind and content with life. I loved feeling like I lived in a world where people aren't always looking for the next best thing.

The amazing veiw from our porch. It was paradise... something you see on a postcard. I want to go back.

So many fun nights out dancing with the girls and meeting new people. I had never been out of the country before and I now realize the coolest thing is that you meet people from all over the world.

I got to celebrate my 22nd birthday there. I had a cake and happy birthday sang to me for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I was one spoiled girl.

The beaches were a lot of fun. We went to a surfer town so the actual beach wasn't breath taking like some Costa Rican beaches. But it was still a lot of fun. It was the start of rainy season when we got there so there was a lot of run off that made the water not as pretty. So if you are looking for a paradise beach when you go there don't go during rainy season. I had no problem with it at all though. We were in the water while it was raining at times and it was such a blast!

The entire beach was lined with coconut trees it was beautiful!

The trip was amazing. I left out so many details and experiences that I will never forget. I am so grateful that out of nowhere I got the opportunity to tag along with these girls. They were a lot of fun and I have made some new friends thats for sure!

So Much

I have so much to blog about I don't even know where to begin. I guess I will start with the most important thing. I have a new nephew!!!!! On my way home from Costa Rica I found out my sisters water broke 5 weeks early. So I am hoping to get home in time but then I got stuck in the airport all night :( I managed to make it to the hospital at 3 in the morning 5 mins. after she had the baby.

Isaiah Dennis Baranowsky, 5lbs 6oz.

Both mom and baby are doing great. They only had to stay a few days in the hospital and now they are back home. I am so happy for them. He is just the most precious little guy and so sweet.

He kept one eye open when i was there a lot it was so funny.

I will be blogging about my Costa Rica trip soon, I had the time of my life. I am truly so happy with life right now. I am done being sad I have so much to be happy about. I am so truly blessed with the most amazing friends and family and I couldn't ask for more right now.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas was a VERY Successful girls weekend. It included pool time, dinner, and shopping all with my girls. We stayed at Tahiti Village at the end of the strip.

We spent most of our time out of the water soaking up the sun. But we did have fun doing some water aerobics ( directed by Shae), played volleyball with a bunch of drunks, and we enjoyed the lazy river.

The rest of our trip was really just getting ready and going to a few amazing dinners! Shopping was a great success at H&M! I love that store!!!

Caesars Palace

Honestly I am so grateful for all of these girls. I have only known them all for about a year and I have only been close with them for that past 6 months but I don't know what I would do without them. They have been so supportive through everything I am going through right now. Each one of them have different experiences they have shared with me and have words of encouragement and they really make me feel like I am not alone. I am so blessed to have them in my life. Having a weekend away with them helped me learn a lot more about each one of them and I can truly say they are all amazing girls.

Only 8 days till I turn 22

Its been 14 days since every part of my future was changed. Its finally sinking in more and more everyday BUT I am doing really good. Although I still have those bad moments that are still really hard..... I have never felt more blessed then I do right now. Heavenly father truly does give us trials to make us stronger and I am so grateful for that. I think what I am most grateful for is I look back at the relationship and I have no regrets. I feel that I treated him right, I loved him with all my heart, I gave him 100% of my trust, I always let him know how proud I was of him, I supported him, I was happy and positive for the most part, I always told him how grateful I was for him and the list goes on and on. My point is.. I don't look back and say I wish I would have told him I loved him more, or I wish I didn't fight with him about that.... I don't look back and wish I would have done anything different. I look back and think in my next relationship I want to love them and trust them the same way I did with Sean. I want to give them my whole heart. My goal is not to let this experience hurt the way I am in my next relationship. I want to continue to trust even though I have been betrayed. I want to give someone my whole heart and not just parts of it. I know with time I can reach this goal and I am grateful for that knowledge.

What a week!

Tomorrow will be 1 week since all of this happened. Its been such a hard week, more tears then I have cried in my whole lifetime I think. Sean has thankfully respected my wishes so far has left me alone, I hope this continues and I never hear from him again.

I had to go talk to the bridal store about my dress. I love my dress but lets face it I don't know when I will get married.... and who knows if I will regret wearing the dress I pictured myself marrying Sean in. So she said the best she could do was have me pay a $250 restocking fee.... my dress was made by Maggie Sottero she is from Austriallia I think. So the company charges that much to restock. So I am out $250 I guess. It was really hard being in the store... remembering before how happy I was when I tried it on :( I cried the whole way home... I think I am still in shock sometimes and then it hits me all at once, that I'm really not getting married. Sometimes I think Sean is just at bootcamp or something and I am waiting for a letter. The other day after my game I opened my phone to call him... I really forgot for a split second. I think what I wonder the most is what he is doing. What he is feeling. If he misses me. If he's with her. If he is ok. Its hard when the last time I heard his voice he was hysterically crying. But then I think harder and I realize none of it matters and thats why I asked him not to speak to me anymore. I don't want to suffer through his emotions with him. I am dealing with my own and I don't need his sorry's in the mix anymore because my mind was made up from the second it came out of his mouth. I would never take him back.

I am still overwhelmed with gratitude for my friends and family and for all of you on here. Your comments touched my heart, its so good to hear your advice and to know that you care. Thank you so much!

A few exciting things....

I have shopped a lot... I have 7 new dresses and a bunch of new swim suits...... that means Vacation!!!

Well my girls trip we have been planning for months is finally here and it couldn't have come at a better time! We are off to Las Vegas to stay at a resort and shop! Thats all I want to do right now... but then
I made a very spontaneous decision....

I just purchased my ticket .... and I leave in a week and a half!

At work I was talking to one of my friends.... after I told her what happened, she said I could come with her and her friends. I am so excited about it. I just need to get out of here and take my mind off of everything! No I am not trying to run away from my sorrows but the damage is done, lets just hope this helps the healing process go a little quicker! I am expecting Costa Rica to put a tiny extra patch on my heart. I have never been out of the country and I am kind of nervous. I just got my passport in the mail on Friday ( how convenient) so if any of you have been to Costa Rica and have any tips let me know.... What to wear? Things I HAVE to bring? Places I HAVE to see? Places to Avoid.....Anything??? Throw it my way.

I am truly amazed right now.
Amazed at how betrayed I feel.
Amazed at how much I know my savior loves me.
Amazed that I have such an incredible family.
Amazed to have friends that love and care about me.
Amazed at how blessed I am.

Overall I am writing this because I want to remember that this is a start to a new beginning. That this is my goodbye to this chapter of my life.
Sean has been that person for the past 6 years of my life that has always taken care of me and protected my heart. He has been that person that would kill anyone who dared to hurt me. He was my go to man, my best friend that I could always count on. Within two 1/2 hour conversations my Sean world has came crumbling down. He betrayed every promise we had ever made, he was unfaithful, he lied, he cried, he apologized, he gave up. Things were going great, at least I thought so. He made some huge mistakes that will effect him the rest of his life... and its changed mine. We aren't getting married anymore and I can't believe how many emotions I have felt in just one day of this. I know life could be so much worse, I know how blessed I am, but I also know that it's ok to hurt. It's ok to show how I feel, but at the end of the day I get down on my knees and thank my heavenly father for all the pain and for all the joy, for all the tears and for all the laughter, for all those who have betrayed me and for all those who love me.

I have gone from feeling disgusted, to hurt, to angry, to sad, to completely humiliated, to grateful and its a cycle that keeps replaying in my head.

I think of him and her and all of the lies and I am disgusted, I think of the fact that I have lost my very best friend and I am so unbelieveably hurt, I think of how I gave him my heart and I trusted him and he crushed it.. and I am angry, I think of how lost he is and how much he needs me right now and how much I wish I could make it better.. and I am sad that I am no longer a part of his life, I think of everything and how much faith I had in him and how much I trusted him and I feel humiliated, I know I would have kept my promises if he didn't break his, I know how happy we could have been and my heart hurts..... and then I am grateful for everything. Everything he taught me, for loving me even if it means nothing now, for being my very best friend, for showing me what it feels like to give someone your heart, even though he didn't take care of it, for being a bump in this journey to make me stronger. I am grateful that he could finally be honest with me and let me go. I am grateful to feel my saviors love, I feel it now more then ever. I am grateful for the spirit to guide me in every decision I make. I know that the spirit guided Sean and I together, I know it was right at one time and I will never doubt that or regret that. I am glad that I have learned that bad decisions can change everything in the blink of an eye. I am glad that I know who I am and what I want, I determine how I handle this. He doesn't determine my happiness. I am so grateful for friends and family who love and care about me. I am grateful that this trial will make me stronger. I am grateful to know there is someone out there who will love me and never betray me, someone who will make me happier then I ever was with Sean.

But for now thats all I have in me. This is the hardest thing I have ever been through.
I am letting go of the one thing I never thought I would have to. Sean my heart aches for you I know how lost you are right now. I want nothing more then to wake up from this nightmare, To wake up in your arms and kiss you and know that everything is ok. I want to live out everything, every dream we have planned since we were just young kids. I want to call you because everytime I have hurt you have always been there, you have always listened and you have always found a way to make me smile you always made it better. But I hurt most because I know this is goodbye forever. I know that our life we have planned together will never come true. I know I deserve so much better then you and that is so hard to say when you use to be my better. I know that my heart will heal. I know I will get over this. But most of all I know I will forgive you. I can't right now but I know I will. I know I want the best for you even though I hate you so much right now I love so much at the same time. I know there will be a day when I can say I don't love you anymore but for now all I can say is that I know this is happening for a reason. I know my heavenly father has a plan for me, I know he loves me and he wants me to be happy that is the only thing that is getting me through. I know he is crying with me right now and that all of this pain will be worth it in the end. I hope and pray that you can know all those things as well. Your heavenly father loves you and as low as you feel right now he will never give you anything you can't handle. He is there for you right now just as much as he is there for me. I am grateful for almost 7 years of memories with you, and I am ready to let you go, Forever.

Flashback to 7K

This picture was taken right after my family helped me move into my apartment in St. George. They were getting ready to leave me and drive back to SLC. I remember this night so clearly.. it was so weird to have that feeling of being on my own. When we said by my mom and dad both cried and I am pretty sure that made my sisters cry too. I guess I never thought of that day being emotional until it actually came and I was in that moment. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to live away from home for 2 1/2 years. It was such a great learning experience. I am also grateful that I have been home for that past year and that I still have 6 more months of seeing my family regularly. Once I get married Sean and I will be off on our own adventure and I know how much I will miss my family so for now I am just enjoying the time I have at home.

I was so lucky to move down to college with 3 of my best friends and we were lucky enough that Alicia wanted to join us. I remember we were all really nervous because we didn't know how Alicia would fit in with us but seriously she made that experience 10X better.

I am enjoying my vacation to see Erin in St. Geezy! I love that summer is here, finally being able to pull out my flip flops is so bitter sweet. I love that its not too cold that I have to wear boots but I hate how dry my feet get. Which brings me to what I want this wednesday. I wish I could have all the tennis shoes in the world, every style every color. I would wear them even in the summer time. I guess I go with flip flops because they are cheap and stylish but I would love to rock a new pair of kicks everyday!

I love dreaming about all the useless things I would spend my money on if I were filthy rich. But for now I will keep sporting my 10 to 20 dollar flops from target I still love them!

Erin M. Burk

Turned 22 on April 22nd as she said on facebook it is "her golden year"

Where do I even start with this girl we have been through so much together! I would have to say the best memories I have with Erin is all of our memories at dixie. We were there when we both fell in love, both almost got married, both got our hearts broken, both had our hearts mended, both made mistakes and learned from them. She knows all my secrets. We have shared more tears and laughs then I can even count. Our last semester we got to share a room and with both of us being single for the first time we got really close. Erin has such a strong faith in the gospel and she has always been such an example to me. I am so grateful for her and all the memories we share. Love you girl! I get to go visit her next week in St. Geezy.. like the good old times :)

Now for my flashback of the week. How appropriate to remember when Erin and I went to Philidelphi, PA and New Jersey and visited her family. It was such a fun trip! Her uncle took us on a tour of downtown Philly then we headed up to the Jersey shore of the weekend to stay in her families beach house. We were beach bums for sure! Its odd how I have gotten to go on trips with 3 of my best friends and we have all spent the majority of our time on the beach! I think it goes to show why we are all best friends! They are the only girls I know that can lay in the sun ALL day with me.
