Flashback to 7K

This picture was taken right after my family helped me move into my apartment in St. George. They were getting ready to leave me  and drive back to SLC. I remember this night so clearly.. it was so weird to have that feeling of being on my own. When we said by my mom and dad both cried and I am pretty sure that made my sisters cry too. I guess I never thought of that day being emotional until it actually came and I was in that moment. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to live away from home for 2 1/2 years. It was such a great learning experience. I am also grateful that I have been home for that past year and that I still have 6 more months of seeing my family regularly. Once I get married Sean and I will be off on our own adventure and I know how much I will miss my family so for now I am just enjoying the time I have at home.

This week I want to flashback to my first year of college
Apt. 7K

I was so lucky to move down to college with 3 of my best friends and we were lucky enough that Alicia wanted to join us. I remember we were all really nervous because we didn't know how Alicia would fit in with us but seriously she made that experience 10X better.

DODGE BALL
I love Erin's face in this one haha

Oh that famous "BROOM GAME" we would meet new guys and make them play this. They would spin around and then do jumping jacks after.. I can't explain to you how hard we laughed over this but I will never forget it. But the best moment was when Alicia tried to run down the hallway after spinning and slammed straight into a door knob!

We always celebrated brithdays and had a blast! This picture was from Mal's birthday!

Halloween 2006

Christmas 2006

We loved bonfires

The trampoline... wow I don't remember where this came from but just another great memory we have......

I will never forget all those experience my first time away from home. I learned so many life lessons and I was so lucky to be surrounded by such great examples. I love my 7K girls for life!!!

Short and Sweet

I am enjoying my vacation to see Erin in St. Geezy! I love that summer is here, finally being able to pull out my flip flops is so bitter sweet. I love that its not too cold that I have to wear boots but I hate how dry my feet get. Which brings me to what I want this wednesday. I wish I could have all the tennis shoes in the world, every style every color. I would wear them even in the summer time. I guess I go with flip flops because they are cheap and stylish but I would love to rock a new pair of kicks everyday!
These would be great for Fenway watching my redsocks play and a nice summer night

I love dreaming about all the useless things I would spend my money on if I were filthy rich. But for now I will keep sporting my 10 to 20 dollar flops from target I still love them!

Flashback Friday!!!!

First off, before flashback friday.... I believe yesterday was Earth Day which means it was someone's birthday .....

Erin M. Burk

Turned 22 on April 22nd as she said on facebook it is "her golden year"

Where do I even start with this girl we have been through so much together! I would have to say the best memories I have with Erin is all of our memories at dixie. We were there when we both fell in love, both almost got married, both got our hearts broken, both had our hearts mended, both made mistakes and learned from them. She knows all my secrets. We have shared more tears and laughs then I can even count. Our last semester we got to share a room and with both of us being single for the first time we got really close. Erin has such a strong faith in the gospel and she has always been such an example to me. I am so grateful for her and all the memories we share. Love you girl! I get to go visit her next week in St. Geezy.. like the good old times :)

Now for my flashback of the week. How appropriate to remember when Erin and I went to Philidelphi, PA and New Jersey and visited her family. It was such a fun trip! Her uncle took us on a tour of downtown Philly then we headed up to the Jersey shore of the weekend to stay in her families beach house. We were beach bums for sure! Its odd how I have gotten to go on trips with 3 of my best friends and we have all spent the majority of our time on the beach! I think it goes to show why we are all best friends! They are the only girls I know that can lay in the sun ALL day with me.

Some pictures from Summer 2007
Trip with E-baby to Philly and Jersey

I just love flashing back to all the great memories in my lifetime!!

FLASHBACK

I took this picture..... its not out of a magazine

HAWAII MARCH 2008

My heart had been broken and I needed a cure

Nothing better then Hawaii with your BFF

Mal was so sweet to let me come and visit. We had such a fun time seeing all the amazing beautiful places. It was truly paradise. I am so lucky to have friends like Mal that are always there in time of need.

This was the beginning of a whole new me.
I remember talking to Sean almost everyday of that trip, he was there for me.
This was the start to being happy alone... finally after 2 years since those days I am happy to say I couldn't be happier.
I Learned
Once you are happy with yourself and who you are
you can take that step forward and also be happy with someone else
There are way too many people out there that rely on others to make them happy
YOU determine your own happiness!

Now for one of the Coolest things I have EVER done

Sharks are amazing
I want to swim with them again SOON

One of the many Amazing memories in my life.
I will never forget it! Its not everyday you get to be in Hawaii with one of your best friends!

I WANT IT WEDNESDAY!!!

The Boat.....
(Please note: half of the length of this car is not photographed, which explains the nickname THE BOAT)

                                         What a trooper

This thing has got me through much more than I ever thought it would. We are going on 4 years now....... 4 years of no car payment.... 4 years of driving scared to death that I may lose my life while driving on the highway when my car just gives up and someone smashes me from behind...

4 years of mirrors glued on  (see photo below)

You know its time for a new car when you have to put duct tape on it....

So although I am grateful that I have a car what do I want......

A 5 series BMW

I want it

I know this is very greedy... I may never have this car but a girl can dream can't she.

....

maybe this

We got our running shoes on!

My Rocky man keeps me trucking along.....

ROCKY

                                        +

SUCCESS

Sadly I have went all these years having no faith in Rocky. Whenever I would take him on walks he would practically drag me and it was so annoying that I just gave up... But I never tried to run with him
Until NOW!!
He is the perfect running buddy! He is old and slow for a dog which is just my pace! As long as I keep jogging he doesn't pull me. By the end of our run he was a pro! He stays right by my side! I am so happy I have found my new running buddy! If I start to walk he makes me Jog again! We have gone on a run for 2 days in a row now and its going to continue at least 5 days a week! I am determined to shed some lbs! I love my rocky man!!!

Changing My Ways

So I have been told I am a terrible blogger... I am not going to name names (mallory) But I have come up with some great ideas. I realize the whole reason I started a blog is because I want to be able to look back each year and remember all the little things. I mean Yes I have a personal journal tha I write in but this is more of an eventful journal. So I decided I am going to have some themes that I am going to be consistant with. I have stole it from other people's blogs and some of it is my own ideas. Sooooo from the great Julee's blog I want to recognize my loved ones on their birthdays. It will be great to see over the years the people that come in to my life and the ones that fade. I know its sad to think that but I know I won't regret doing it. I am going to have "Missing You Mondays". Lets face it.. my sweetheart is away and instead of feeling like I am complaining when I vent every once in a while I am going to write about him and I every monday. I am going to write how the week has been and how he is doing and how we are feeling! I think it will be great because I love him so much and I want to remember the great things we go through  every week even when he isn't here. Now from my new blog friend Ango-Irish girl. I am going to have "I Want It Wednesdays!!"  Just write about my dream things.. and even write about reasonable things that I want to have.... then my favorite from her is "FlashBack Friday's"! I have so many pictures of so many different memories in my lifetime! I want to write about them, I think it will be great! Then last is "Spiritual Sunday"! Because I have to work a few sundays a month I realize how much I cherish my sundays! I learn so much at church and it gives me so much hope and desire to be better so I want to write about it! Who knows maybe I will say a thing or two that will help someone who reads it and if that doesn't happen I know it will strengthen me. I am really excited to be more dedicated to this!!! Now of course I don't need a theme to blog. I will still do random post's about life in general and what is going on but I am excited to have days of the week to always have a theme to blog about!  Sooooo Lets start with last weeks birthday girl was.......

Kallee Mae Love (soon to be North)

The big 22
have known Kallee since kindergarten. Although we haven't always been best friends, since our senior year we have been really close. I am so happy we had the past year to get so close. While she was waiting for her missionary we were pretty much a couple haha. She has been there for me through it all and I know I can always count on her. I am so grateful for her and I am so happy that she is marrying the man of her dreams. She has had a lot of tears waiting for that boy and I know it wasn't easy but its great to finally see her smile. I know we will be life long friends love you so much sis! Happy Birthday!
The greatest memory I have with Kal is when she came with me and my family to florida for 13 days. I don't know what I would have done with out her there! We had such a blast and she was such a trooper to be around my crazy family haha!

Now next on the list..... Wedding Season has arrived! I wish I could say my wedding has arrived but that is still 6 1/2 months aways :/.
But Nikki and Gentry got married! They are such a great couple and I am so happy Nikki found such a great guy! Its always great to see old friends and we even got to do a little bit of dancing ( my favorite part of a wedding) Here are some pictures!
Glow sticking it on the dance floor!!
Miss Mads :)
Nessy!! Love her dark hair!!

Afterward we went to dinner for Kal's birthday.
These great suckers were the gift we got to take from Nikki's wedding!
Then at dinner prego girl pee'd herself. jk
She spilt water

Now to the Gourleys Wedding
I got to go with my sister which is always fun!
The wind made us crazy

Even my amazing parents were there! Scott was in my old ward so it was fun to see people that I haven't seen in years! Being at the weddings made me so much more excited to get married. I loved watching the first dance, I seriously am dreaming of that moment with Sean! I know it feels like it will never come but everyone tells me it will be here before I know it! I can't hardly wait!! :0
So to start of my new Tradition.... Today is missing you monday :)

Sean's weekends started off great! He got is patriachal blessing, this was such a great experience for him and I am so proud of him!! But then sadly he got sick :( I am pretty sure he had food poisoning for how quickly it came on and it lasted less than 24 hours. I hate when he is sick and I can't take care of him! But it makes me so excited for the day that I am right by his side through it all!
So what I have really missed lately is Sean's big strong arms! I know we have all a favorite physical feature about our sweehearts! Well since the day I met him I always loved how strong he was I always feel so safe with him...... and how he could pick me up. Not very many boys can do that haha.... in high school I was so mean and immature I use to always make him pose flexing his muscles! haha I thought it was such a cute pose... don't worry I haven't made him do that in at least 4 years... but I thought I would reminisce of old times and who you one of our many posing muscle pictures haha are you ready for it.............................................

Gotta love it! Anway all in all I just want those things wrapped around me!!!! I love you Seany!!!!!!!!!!!!!
